Oklahoma City, 30 August 2010 – Local radio station 93.3 Jake FM is currently campaigning on air to raise $9 million dollars to negotiate with the
Oklahoma City Thunder. The lease on naming rights of the Center to The Oklahoma Ford Dealers isn’t being renewed and the team is looking for a new partner.
 
Jake FM Program Director Kevin Christopher realizes raising the necessary funds is a lofty expectation. “Jake is currently asking each listener and their
family and friends to donate $20.00 each. We’re being realistic that it’s going to take all of our listeners as well as our competitor’s and even some
funding help from local industry to make this happen. In the event we fall short, Jake has agreed to donate all contributions to the Thunder’s ‘NBA Cares’ local charities.” Listeners literally have nothing to lose!
